The Aprilaire E070 is the newest compact dehumidifier by Aprilaire and is great for crawl spaces, basements and attics. It is easy to install and goes places other larger dehumidifiers may not be able to access. The E070 comes standard with ducting collars so you can push or pull air anywhere inside the crawl space. (formerly model 1820)
It is compact and packed with great features. It's a nice, small compact unit that makes it easy to place it in various spaces. It features a built-in digital control on the unit body. It also features a discharge selector so that you can choose whether to discharge through the top or the rear of the unit. It ships with a 8-inch round duct collar for connecting to your duct work.
Aprilaire offers a 5 year warranty when you register with them. This will ensure that if anything happens, Aprilaire will be able to send any replacement parts or units directly to your home.

Great little dehu
Set this up for our 1000 square-foot crawlspace. Love to be able to converse with Mary here at Crawl Space Ninja. Definitely buy through them rather than somewhere else since the cost is about the same and their advice is super trustworthy and prompt. The dehumidifier was easy to unpack and install. It was lighter weight than I thought! But our humidity instantly went down and the unit and staying staying strong. Feels good to have such a nice warranty on this device.

AprilAire 1820 Dehumidifier
Product arrived in perfect condition. Installation was simple - note I did watch the AprilAire videos on unit setup. Humidity in crawlspace was 70% when unit was installed. Currently at 52%. Crawlspace area is 1344 square feet with maximum height of 4.5 ft.
