Crawl Space Seam Tape
A polyethylene film, single coated with a synthetic rubber pressure sensitive adhesive. This is not your average crawl space vapor barrier seam tape. This 4” 9-mil thick seam tape comes in 180’ (60 yd) long rolls. The color is bright white and is sure to help brighten your crawl space jobs. Our crawl space seam tape is polyethylene backed and single sided. It is great for any crawl space encapsulation or basement waterproofing project.
Waterproof Seam Tape for Crawl Spaces
Crawl Space Ninja Seam Tape is polyethylene film tape manufactured with a superior adhesive compound and intended for use in many applications; such as crawl space encapsulation, basement waterproofing, splicing, color coding, marking and sealing. This tape also offers noticeably better water and weather resistance than traditional crawl space seam tapes. This poly tape is commonly used in the marine, service, and construction industries among others. Poly tapes are frequently used in shrink film and zipper door applications.
Q: How Much Crawl Space Seam Tape Do I Need?
Typically, we recommend 1 roll (4"x180') for every 250 square feet of crawl space. Additionally, if you have support pillars, add 1 additional roll for every four pillars.

Super Great Seam Tape
So, not all seam tape is made the same. I ordered this roll to compare to what my contractor had used, and it is, by far, what you want to use. I don't how it differs from the other well know crawlspace DIY store on the internet, but this is an excellent product. I have a feeling I might be paying a few dollars more for the logo, but I plan to display the empty cardboard roll in the crawlspace to let other's know Crawlspace Ninja products are on the job! Love it and love Crawlspace Ninja.

This tape is no joke. It sticks and doesn't come off. It is so sticky that you can barely unroll it which makes it difficult to use in a confined space where your arms are outstretched. Very strong and I will use it again. Great but!

Very good product, though it took me a little while to get my process right ... I like to slice through the tape with an exacto knife to leave a small bit left unstuck to the roll, which makes it easier to pull the next piece needed. Overall, it does an excellent job!!

4th Seam Tape, 3rd DS Butyl Tape, 2nd 10x100 Barrier.
Slow 66 yo DIY here so I’m ordering as I need it. Service is great and delivery is also quick. I have all walls covered up with 2” foam board, all walls and 12 columns covered with plastic and now sealing up sill plate and using 2” Foam Board with Spray Foam. I’ve been running an AprilAir 70 to a Mighty Pump to a Bucketed Sump Pump! Plan on laying vapor Barrier floor before end of year. Thanks CS Ninja
