Insulation Vapor Barrier with Radiant Barrier
Crawl Space Ninja Insulation Vapor Barrier is a blanket insulation/vapor barrier designed to provide a thermal break and moisture barrier in crawl
spaces. Our Insulation Vapor Barrier can also reduce condensation, mold and degradation by controlling water vapor migration.
Insulation Vapor Barrier is a multi-layer blanket insulation. Insulation Vapor Barrier is manufactured using cross-woven polyethylene, high-density
closed-cell foam, a layer of high-density polyethylene bubble and reflective aluminum. These layers combine to provide consistent thermal and moisture protection.

Frequently Asked Questions:
- Is the Insulation Vapor Barrier trimmable?
- Yes, you can trim the Insulation Vapor Barrier to the height you need, just like you do with regular vapor barrier. However, if you do trim the Insulation Vapor Barrier, be sure to seal the trimmed edge with our Crawl Space Seam Tape.
- Do I have to blow up this product before installation?
- The Insulation Vapor Barrier does not need to be blown up before installation. It is ready for install upon delivery.
- Is this product airtight?
- The product is not airtight due to the sewing process to put all layers together and the process needed to attach the Insulation Vapor Barrier to your foundation walls. If you're worried about air or water getting between the layers, we recommend sealing all penetrations with our Crawl Space Seam Tape.
- Will this product grow mold?
- To the best of our knowledge, no. Since this product is made from plastic/foam, it is highly unlikely it will begin to grow mold over time.

R-value performance:
Insulation Vapor Barrier is composed of reflective polyethylene, high-density bubble pack and high-density closed-cell foam. The two outside polyethylene skins protect the interior insulation materials as well as provide excellent moisture protection. Insulation Vapor Barrier is designed to separate during installation.
R-values may increase or decrease slightly depending on airspace. Follow manufacturer’s instructions to receive maximum R-Value benefit. Insulation vapor barrier and the total wall assembly have been independently tested by a 3rd party testing facility for thermal resistance values in both summer and winter conditions. The values below are an average of the summer and winter results.
Insulation Vapor Barrier:
- Material - R 8.73
- With 3/4 inch wall system - R 12
** The precision of this testing is estimated to be 2.5% (ASTM C 518-10, Section 10.8). The precision for this composite with included air space is estimated to be 15%, IR emittance for the exterior surface of the panel that forms the enclosed air space has been determined in accordance with ASTM C 1371.

Easy Insulation
I’m insulating the walls of my crawlspace and decided to try this instead of foam board. I hung the whole 100 ft length from fur strips I had attached horizontally at the top. Took me less than an hour by myself. I’ll add more now seeing how easy this was.
